Three different reasons to pick Europe.
Ireland is the European base of many of the world's largest technology and pharmaceutical companies. Its universities are well ranked and teach in English.
A one-year master's followed by two years of stay-back makes it a strong alternative to the UK.
Swiss hotel schools set the world standard for hospitality education. You alternate between study terms and paid internships, and graduate with a network that reaches every major hotel brand.
Fees are high, but they often include housing and meals, and internship pay offsets part of the cost.
Spain offers English-taught business and design degrees in Barcelona, Madrid and Valencia, with a relaxed lifestyle and moderate costs.
Students may work up to 30 hours a week, and Spanish is a useful second language for a career in Europe or Latin America.
71 institutions across the three countries. Choose a country, or search by name or city.
No match. Try a shorter search, or ask us: the list changes often.
QS numbers are from the QS World University Rankings 2027 and refer to the parent university. In Switzerland and Spain the list is mainly private schools. Check who awards the degree and how it is accredited before you pay any fee; we check this for every institution on our list.
All three need a long-stay national visa. Appointment waits are long before the September intake, so apply early.
Academic records, an English test score, proof of fees paid, and ready access to €10,000 for each year. Private medical insurance is required.
Since mid-2025 Ireland checks the source and history of your funds closely. Your course must be on the official list of eligible programmes (ILEP) for you to work and to stay back.
Academic records, an English test score, proof of funds or fees paid, a study plan, and a written commitment to leave after your studies.
Decisions are made by the canton and take eight to twelve weeks. Internships outside the course need separate approval.
Academic records, proof of funds, health insurance valid in Spain, a medical certificate and a police clearance certificate.
Paperwork rules are strict: documents often need an apostille and a sworn translation. Allow three months.
We represent a medical and health sciences university in Ireland. Before you choose, read how the UK and Ireland route and the wider Europe route work for Indian students.
Short answers to what students and parents ask us most about these three countries.
Neither. Ireland is an independent EU country with its own visa. An Irish study visa does not let you travel to the UK or the Schengen countries without a separate visa.
Yes, internships in Switzerland are paid at a rate set for trainees, and schools help you find them. Internships can also be done in other countries.
Not for an English-taught programme. Spanish helps a great deal with part-time work and daily life, and most schools offer classes.
Twelve months after a bachelor's honours degree and 24 months after a master's or PhD, under the Third Level Graduate Programme.
Spain usually has the lowest total cost. Ireland sits in the middle. Switzerland is the most expensive, but fees often include housing and meals.
Not sure yet? Most students look at two or three countries before they decide. The number beside each is the institutions we represent there.
