France is strongest in management education. Its business schools hold international accreditations, teach in English and include internships as part of the degree.
It also leads in luxury brand management, fashion, culinary arts and hospitality. Most French institutions we represent are private business, engineering and design schools, mainly in Paris, Lyon and other large cities.
Germany is the first choice in Europe for engineers. Universities of applied sciences work closely with companies, and many degrees include a paid internship semester.
Public universities charge little or no tuition but are competitive and often need German. Most German institutions we represent are private universities that teach in English and have more flexible entry.

The APS certificate, your academic records, a language test score (English or German, as the course asks), the blocked account confirmation and health insurance.
APS and visa appointments both take time, so begin six to eight months before your intake. Check that a private university is state-recognised before you pay any fee; we check this for every institution on our list.
Medicine in France and Germany is taught in the local language at public universities. English-taught medical degrees are found elsewhere in Europe. Our MBBS pages explain the options.
Short answers to what students and parents ask us most about France and Germany.
Not to study on an English-taught programme. You will need the local language for most part-time jobs, for daily life outside the big cities and for many careers after you graduate, so we advise starting classes before you travel.
Most public universities charge no tuition, only a semester fee. Some states and universities do charge non-EU students, and entry is competitive. Private universities charge tuition but are easier to enter and teach in English.

Your student and post-study permits let you work in the country that issued them. With a job offer and the right salary, graduates can later apply for an EU Blue Card.
Not sure yet? Most students look at two or three countries before they decide. The number beside each is the institutions we represent there.
