Twenty+ years of ground-level experience
It started in 2004, under the name ODL Academy, with a simple idea: that the people guiding a student toward a course, a university or a country should actually know that place, not just repeat what a brochure says about it. More than twenty years on, that's still the test we hold ourselves to.
What's changed since then is scale, not philosophy. We've sat with thousands of families in our Pondicherry office — some certain of what they wanted, most not — and talked through decisions that don't come with a do-over. A handful of visits to a campus, a conversation with an admissions officer, a relationship built over years with a university abroad — these end up mattering more than another hour of searching online ever could.
We've stayed a small, hands-on team on purpose. It means the person who takes your first call is usually the same person who sees your file through to a visa stamp — and it means we can afford to say "this isn't the right fit for you" instead of just processing another application.
